DOE Site's Data Transfer Nodes
The three ASCR-funded supercomputer centers have installed Data Transfer Nodes (DTNs) that are specifically tuned for wide area data transfers. These servers are high-performance, dedicated hosts that are configured as gateways between the high-performance local storage at the supercomputer center and remote resources. Their principal role will be to enable high-performance data transfers into, out of, and between the ASCR-funded supercomputer centers.
Documentation for the DTNs at the supercomputer centers is maintained by the supercomputer centers:
- Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF)
- National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC)
- ORNL Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF)
