Supercomputer Center Data Transfers

The three ASCR-funded supercomputer centers are building servers devoted to wide area data transfers. These servers are high-performance, dedicated hosts that are configured as gateways between the high-performance local storage at the supercomputer center and remote resources. Their principal role will be to enable high-performance data transfers between the ASCR-funded supercomputer centers.

Documentation for the data transfer servers is maintained by the supercomputer centers:

The supercomputer centers conduct regular data transfer tests between their servers. The results of the past 30 days of tests are archived and plotted:

  • ALCF and NERSC (coming soon)
  • NERSC and OLCF
  • OLCF and ALCF (coming soon)
