Summary of the Webinar
Cybersecurity is a crucial consideration for the R&E community. This posturing helps to protect diverse resources that span computers, software, networks, and physical infrastructure. Approaching this challenge cannot be done in a vacuum - it critical to understand the risks, mitigation strategies, and solutions that are available to protect both resources and data.
This talk will give a basic overview of the concept of cybersecurity, and conclude with a case study on security to protect a research component - the Science DMZ enclave of a campus.
